This is a new logo for St Luke’s Church in Lowton. It will be implemented across all channels of media from stationery through to the Church website. The inspiration for the logo came from the researching the history of St Luke. Saint Luke lived in the First Century A.D. He was a physician, companion to Saint Paul and Christian historian. His name is believed by some to be an abbreviation of Lucanus. He is also the patron saint of artists.

We have created a modern looking logo embracing the tradition of the Church. The brush stroke cross emphasizes art and writing, and we have used both traditional and modern typefaces to promote a modern day look.

Testimonial
Kitto design worked with St. Luke’s Church, Lowton, in the creation of a new logo for the church, and the incorporation of this logo into our new church magazine cover. The original design brief was pretty vague, and Kitto design produced a selection of 5 different logos for consideration. The final choice was purely down to personal preference, as all the logos were excellent. The work was produced on time and to a high standard. When it came to collaboration with the church over the layout of the magazine cover, Kitto design were highly professional in marrying their own high technical standards to the rather lower design expertise of the church representative, while taking account of any issues raised. We are delighted with the personal service offered and the results obtained.
